Utilizing industry standards and best practices to capture system and unit level requirements,architecture decomposition,technical processes,test plan generation and verification sell off. The ideal candidate will 
 <ul>
 <li>be a detail-oriented Embedded Software engineer with experience driving designs from cradle to grave.</li>
 <li>demonstrate experience defining embedded system in the form of a detailed architecture and low level requirements and developing source and test code</li>
 <li>have extensive DO-178 experience</li>
 </ul> Expected Tasks,Duties,and ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodation will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the following essential functions.

 <li>Translate high-level system technical and conformance requirements into software system architecture (UML-enterprise architect) and lower-level embedded software (SW) requirements and specifications</li>
 <li>Collaborate tightly with the other domain system engineers (Top level,Electrical,Thermal,Mechanical,Design) in the development of system level requirements and architecture that enable efficient flow software flow down and test</li>
 <li>Manage SW technical requirements from the top down (traceability,verification,and validation) across multiple programs.</li>
 <li>Organize and participate in design reviews from the system level down to the code reviews</li>
 <li>Design and generate lower-level software test matrices,plans,and procedures to cover and show compliance to the lower-level software requirements verification matrix</li>
 <li>Development and/or maintain standard embedded SW engineering methods/processes to improve product quality and conformance</li>
 <li>Development of EE and SW contract data requirement list (CDRL) documents (design analysis,risk mitigation,review of safety factors &amp; stack-ups,reliability tools,government conformance,and design reviews).</li>
 <li>Work and collaborate with the program teams and their customers to ensure real time communication and optimum solution development.</li>
 <li>Assist advancing products from concept to prototype to production lifecycles</li>
 <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>
 </ul>Required Knowledge,Skills,and Abilities
 <ul>
 <li>Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering required; Master's degree preferred.</li>
 <li>Five years of relevant embedded software design and implementation experience,preferably in MIL/commercial aviation avionics or spaceflight design.</li>
 <li>Working experience of industry standard SE processes pertaining to product lifecycle (specs,requirements,architecture,formal reviews,integration,test and deployment).</li>
 <li>Excellent written and verbal communication.</li>
 <li>Deep bench experience with certifying software systems to DO-178</li>
 <li>Working knowledge or experience with common embedded electronic and software tools/languages (Sch capture,PCB boards,C/C++,Dev Ops Flows)</li>
 <li>Excellent interpersonal relationship building both internally and externally.</li>
 <li>Functional understanding of major aircraft or satellite systems: environmental control systems,powerplant,electrical,hydraulics,controls,avionics,power generation,and structures.</li>
 <li>Knowledge of steady state and dynamic system modeling and architecting high level controls.</li>
 </ul> Expected Hours of WorkSalaried employees are generally expected to work a baseline of 40 hours per week,although a priority is placed on achieving results rather than tracking time.Supervisory ResponsibilityThe Aerospace Electrical Engineer has no direct supervisory responsibility.Physical RequirementsThis role requires prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. This role requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds,open cabinets,bend,or stand on a stool as needed. Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the industrial facility.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in an indoor office environment and routinely interacts with other crew members and customers. This role routinely uses both paper and electronic record keeping systems and communication equipment.Travel RequirementsInfrequent,occasional,overnight travel is expected for this position,less than 10%.During major AI&amp;T campaigns periods of longer travel may be required.  <li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science required; Master's degree preferred.</li>
 <li>Five years of relevant experience,preferably in avionics or space design.</li>
 </ul>Additional Qualifications
 <ul>
 <li>Must be 18 years of age or older.</li>
 <li>Design experience and development of programmed applications highly preferred.</li>
 <li>Experience with Altium and SolidWorks is preferred.</li>
